Overview:
Dr. Lee discussed how simultaneous PET and MR data acquisition using a fully integrated system, such as the SimPET-M7 simultaneous PET/MRI solution, can provide several advantages over sequential PET/CT for small animal imaging.
He also introduced the SimPET-M7 simultaneous PET/MRI solution for small animal imaging in this talk.

Jae Sung Lee received his bachelor’s degree of electrical engineering and Ph.D. of biomedical engineering from Seoul National University (SNU), Seoul, Korea in 1996 and 2001, respectively. He then worked as a postdoctoral fellow of radiology at John Hopkins University. In 2005, he joined SNU College of Medicine where he is currently a professor of nuclear medicine, biomedical engineering, and biomedical sciences. He was also a visiting professor at Stanford University (2015-16)
