The British Society for Cardiovascular Research Autumn Meeting will be held in Sheffield, UK, September 10 -11, 2018. The meeting will take place at the Halifax Hall, Endcliffe Village, University of Sheffield and will focus on inflammation and repair.
Sessions include:
Microvesicles and exosomes; Metabolism and inflammation; Immunity and inflammation; Bernard and Joan Marshall Research Prizes (including Professor Hanjoong Jo, Emory University and Georgia Tech, Atlanta, as the Distinguished Investigator); Keynote lecture – Jake Lusis, University of California Los Angeles.
Aims and Objectives:
The British Society for Cardiovascular Research (BSCR) aims to provide a forum for scientists and clinicians with research interests in the heart and vasculature. There are over 450 members representing a broad range of scientific and clinical disciplines drawn from academic, industrial and clinical environments. Members are investigators at all stages of their careers engaged in laboratory-based and clinical research on the regulation, physiology and pathophysiology of the cardiovascular system and the treatment of cardiovascular diseases.
