Features

System Overview

The SuperArgus PET/CT is a high-performance imaging system for preclinical research. It can be configured as a combined PET/CT or PET or CT only system, and features state-of-the-art phoswich PET detectors with true depth-of-interaction (tDOI) for resolution uniformity and high sensitivity.

Available in three bore sizes, the system offers real-time imaging up to 2.5msec frame rate and advanced capabilities like sensorless cardiac gating and conscious/awake imaging.

The dual-modality configuration delivers fast scan times with superior image resolution, improved localization, and quantifiable data. In addition, the SuperArgus PET/CT has been designed with a user-friendly operator interface and easy animal positioning.

Features & Benefits

Superior Resolution (≤1.0mm)

  • Ability to image small anatomical structures

  • Locate small metastatic tumors

Multiplexed Imaging (mPET)
  • Simultaneously acquire images from two different tracers, upon post-processing the data can be separated for each tracer.
  • Study interactions of different biomarkers of interest in the same model
Conscious/Awake Imaging
  • With the help of Fiducial markers, generate 3D & 4D data, and monitor changes dynamically without the effects of anesthesia

Phoswich PET Detector Technology

  • Resolution Uniformity across the entire Field of View due to true Depth of Interaction (tDOI)
  • Great for multi-animal imaging

Real-time Imaging up to 2.5 millisecond frame rate

  • Real-time imaging allows users to confirm the success of injections
  • Dynamic studies with high frame rate
  • First-pass imaging
  • Sensorless cardiac gating
  • PET Guided Biopsies
  • Image Guided Radiotherapy

11% Sensitivity at 100 to 700 keV

  • Use smaller amounts of tracers to acquire high resolutions imaging
Sensorless Cardiac Gating
  • Fully automated heartbeat detection
  • No wires or special positioning within the FOV
  • Capable with multi-animal setup
  • Quantifiable Cardiac Imaging
Multi-animal Imaging
  • High-throughput imaging without compromising on resolution and sensitivit

Models & Specifications

Systems can be configured as standalone PET systems or incorporated with computed tomography (CT) that delivers a low dosage of radiation with a resolution as low as 15µm and rapid scans as low as 8.5 seconds.
