Preclinical Imaging Learning Mini-Series

This is a  3-part learning mini-series focused on preclinical imaging, presented by Scintica Instrumentation. We discussed five of the essential imaging technologies used in preclinical research, including optical imaging, high frequency ultrasound, MRI, PET/CT, and fluorescence in vivo endomicroscopy.

1ˢᵗ Session

Webinar – The Four W’s of Preclinical Small Animal Imaging: What, When Where, Why

During this 60 minute webinar we will discuss each of the five imaging modalities, focusing on the modality itself with a brief overview of the types of images acquired, applications that it is best suited for, all while showing some example images.

2nd Session

Live Demonstration – Understanding the Complimentary Nature of BLI, Ultrasound, and MRI for Preclinical Imaging

During this full day live demonstration event we will be imaging the same mice using bioluminescence, ultrasound, and MRI to show the complimentary nature of these imaging modalities in tumor imaging. Additionally, cardiovascular function will be examined using high frequency ultrasound, and normal brain anatomy will be examined using MRI.

3rd Session

Webinar – Overview of Scintica’s Preclinical Imaging Product Portfolio: Technical Capabilities

During this 60-minute webinar we will discuss the specific technical capabilities of the preclinical imaging products offered by Scintica Instrumentation. Images acquired during the live demonstration will be shown, as well as other example images for each of the specific systems offered within the Imaging product portfolio.
